Sweet things.

Uh -Oh the forman drove up. Look Busy.
Heidi mud running in the yard. She can sure make some tracks!

Heidi taking after daddy. Let's just hope she doesn't start bringing a book or magazine to the bathroom or I'll never see my family!
That's not the way we get there Heidi. Silly.

"Mom, do you really think you will need your flip flops?"

Story time. Heidi will let me know now if she wants to read or look at books with me. She doesn't yell and point at them, she just throws them in my lap.

I'm getting so excited to get to Michigan finally and to be with everyone. What a great time it's going to be. Heidi has been helping me pack......well, sort of. I put it in the suitcase and she takes it back out. So lots of clothes laying around right now. Brian has been very busy with the putting in our sprinkler system before vacation starts but I don't think we will have it fully done before we leave which we would have hoped for. Heidi has been having some new moments. When I chase her and she screams away, she will ran at daddy and then look at me. She must think she is safe and I can't get her then. I think we did those type of games when we were younger also. It's so adorable to see her do it. Heidi still loves to play "phone." She loves to pretend to talk on the phone and walk around the house with it. I'm thinking of getting a toy vacuum as she gets so excited when I clean the house and she really wants to help me. I was dusting the table's in the living room over the weekend and when I walked away she grabbed my rag and started to move the rag onto the coffee table and was talking so much while doing it! I couldn't believe it. I was laughing so hard and it was just the cutest thing.

Heidi & I went on a bike ride the other day and my heart melted when I saw the cutest little boy taking his toy "popcorn" lawn mower and following behind his daddy while he was mowing the lawn with his push mower. It was so funny to hear the little boys lil' mower go "pop, pop" as he followed his dad.

I'm a big girl!

Say cheese!
Heidi's Cabana.
Butterflys that are velcro attached on each side.
Here we start our cookie making.
Learning how to stir is hard. She just wanted to throw the flour.
To soon for the chips. Stinker.
Not on the counter, in the bowl hun.

Flour fight.

My helper.

I love to see Heidi try new foods and the expression on her face is priceless. Whether it's something she enjoys or doesn't care for, she has such a personality. Usually if she doesn't like something, she will pucker up her lips and slowly spit it out. Some things that she really loves, she will hum "mmmm." Now my new goal with our little girl who is getting so big; I have to find or make things that Heidi can eat with us. Today I made stir fry and when I had the chicken cooked, I put some of it aside onto heidi's plate and then the rest for us to season spicy. I also put some veggies aside for her as well. Heidi really liked the chicken but I think she's getting sick of carrots. She's been spitting the carrots out lately if she gets a bite of it. And it's not a slow spit-out of the mouth either. She has learned the stick out the tongue and go "Pfffflllhhhh!" So not only are there carrots on her, the table and me, it's also all over the floor. What a brat. Then if I cover her mouth with a napkin and say no. She just giggles and carry's on with throwing her dinner everywhere. We also found out that Heidi loves hotdogs and macaroni salad during our grilling out with Rob & Sarah.

Heidi also has learned how to run and she sure loves to be chased. I'm trying to keep up with her and she just wants to run. So now shopping is a nightmare. No more sitting, let me out!

Today I decided to make some cookies and let Heidi help me. I completly forgot to put on her apron that grandma gross got her and by the time I remembered it, it was to late. There was flour everywhere. Heidi had so much fun playing with flour and helping me. The whole process was a big mess everywhere but it was so worth it! She sat so nice on the stole up to the counter and I was afraid of her falling off because she gets so excited. But she just wanted to look at what mommy was doing and what I was giving her to play with. By the time Heidi was ready to quit and wanting down, that was the time to put the cookies in the oven, so I decided to help her make more mess with flour. I gave her little more to spread around on the counter and then before I knew it, we were having a flour fight. She started it! She put flour on my face, so I put some on hers. She was giggling so hard and had a lot of fun. After I cleaned up and then picked up heidi, she was a flour dust cloud. I had to change her into new clothes or when she would be running around the house, I might have seen a dust trail following behind her.

We have been outside all weekend and playing in the yard and getting lots of exercise. Heidi loves to play in the dirt and we have played in the grass at Rob & Sarah's until our yard is in. When she can get on the grass, she moves quick. She loves it! She epecially loves to pick Dandilions. She gets so excited about them. She must think they are flowers. So Heidi is now Rob's weed controller. I also put up Heidi's pool I got her last year on clearance. It's really cute. It almost looks like a little Cabana. Heidi also got a pool for christmas, so maybe I will use one as a play center and one for a pool. Not sure what to do yet but it's still early to tell until our yard is finished.
Next time anyone sees Heidi, ask her for a "Eskimo Kiss." She loves it and giggles. She to give them. :)

Just another day.

Ready to plant some strawberries.
Ready to go for a walk.

By the rock fountain near our house.
Uh-Oh, noodles everywhere.
Try to stop me.........
To late. SQUISH!!

Today Heidi and I had a fun morning of a nice long walk. The weather this morning was so perfect and we really needed to get out and just explore the neighborhood. Halfway into our walk we noticed a sweet little girl yelling behind us and so we stopped to say hi. Heidi was having a great time seeing another little girl out walking with her mommy to. So we all decided to walk together for a bit and play. The little girls name is Lucy and her mom is Ashlynn. They live across the street from us and Ashlynn is due with another girl on the way in a week. After our walk, I told her that she can bring Lucy over to play with Heidi anytime if she would like and if she needs a break. Heidi would love it. I will have to say hi to her again soon before she has her baby or a couple weeks after to see how she is and see the new baby. I will probably make some treats also to bring over. Not sure yet.

After our walk, we had to get some errands done, so we hopped in the car and went shopping for about 2 hours. Then home for lunch. Heidi liked macaroni and cheese the other night so I made the same thing for us today. Little did I know she had other plans for the mac & cheese. As I was talking to Laurie on the phone, I stepped away to the sink to get a towel and when I came back, noodles, everywhere. Then when we finished our call and Heidi and I finished our lunch (whatever was left and not on the floor), I started to sweep the floor. I put Heidi in the living room to clean up and then of course when I went to get another paper towl, there she was, stepping and squishing all the noodles I piled up. I was laughing so hard while telling her no but she of course just looked at me and laughed along and continued squishing her fallen noodles.
